Messy hair, sticky fingers and dirty knees, signs of innocent children at play. In the garden the rewards of watermelon, strawberries and corn on the cob made pulling weeds seem more like fun. Every year we shared saltwater taffy, cotton candy and carmel corn at the Ionia Free Fair. These are just a few of my sweetest dreams!
